3. Contacting Us Through the Website

Dees Gardner offers an optional SMS / text-messaging program to people who opt in. This section describes the terms of that program.

Program purpose

The program is used for service notifications — for example, document-ready notices, document and e-signature requests, receipt confirmations, appointment reminders, and similar account-related messages. We do not use the program for advertising, marketing, or promotional purposes.

Opt-in / consent

You will receive text messages from us only after you affirmatively opt in at https://www.deesgardnercpas.com/sms by entering your mobile number and checking a consent box, or by initiating a text conversation with us. Opt-in is voluntary and is not required to use any of our services.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. During busy periods (such as tax filing season) you may receive several messages per week; at other times you may receive few or none.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Rates charged by your mobile carrier may apply to any messages you send or receive. Dees Gardner is not responsible for carrier charges.

HELP and STOP

Reply HELP to any text message to receive help and contact information. Reply STOP to any text message to unsubscribe; you will receive a confirmation message and we will not send you further texts through the program. To re-subscribe, contact us by phone or email. You may also ask us to stop messaging you by contacting us through any of the channels listed below.

Carrier disclaimer

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include the major U.S. wireless carriers, but availability may vary. Messages may not be delivered if your phone is not in range of a transmission site, if sufficient network capacity is not available, or for other reasons outside our control.

Privacy

Information collected through the SMS program is governed by our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information related to text-messaging opt-in and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

5. Intellectual Property
